Even more WA gun restrictions

03/28/2024

We have had lots of people ask use recently : "Why arent there guns on your website anymore?"

Well, its a long story but its becuase politicians are attacking our industry. New bills have increased our expenses and we have less money or time to put into growing the business. Sadly we fell victim to political overeach and unconstitutional restrictions. They have been detrimental to say the least.

More gun restrictions coming to WA have made it practically impossible for Gun Guys LLC to afford to keep an FFL.  With that being said we are not renewing the FFL / SOT and all firearms and regulated items have been removed from Gun Guys.  We are still able to sell ammo, accessories and optics etc.

"Thanks" to this tyrant below. Him and his chronies are eliminating the smaller dealers in WA.

This Quote sums up how all of us in the WA firearms industry feel about the new bans/restrictions:
“If you’re a small business, you will likely not have the resources to implement this stuff as the requirements are going to be very costly,” Ball said. “If you are a very large business, there’s almost zero way to comply with it because the requirements aren’t going to be scalable."

(more of the quote is below)

"Jeremy Ball, owner of Sharp Shooting Indoor Range & Gun Shop in Spokane, said this new policy “takes a one-size-fits-all approach” to firearm retailer safety.

“If you’re a small business, you will likely not have the resources to implement this stuff as the requirements are going to be very costly,” Ball said. “If you are a very large business, there’s almost zero way to comply with it because the requirements aren’t going to be scalable.”

He stressed that these restrictions could cause dealers to stop selling firearms or move out of the state, which would reduce the availability of reputable companies and exacerbate the problem of illegal gun purchases.

Ball said this law targets the wrong group of people because licensed dealers are “the number one line of defense against illegally trafficked firearms,” as they already face a slew of regulations from the federal government . "

In short, Gun Guys as going back to its roots as being an accessory and ammo sales website and continuing to bring you value through our partners and companies that we are affiliates with.
